Day 2 is almost over and though I didn't count my points today, I didn't do all that bad either. I didn't go to McDonalds for lunch like I wanted (I opted for Subway), I didn't get any junk food when I went grocery shopping, and I didn't make crap for dinner. That being said, I am pretty sure if I would have been counting points, I would have definitely gone over. Well over. Like I did last night....
So, for now I am satisfied with making healthier decisions. Yesterday I beat myself up for not being strictly on program and today I decided that it's not the end of the world if I don't count points...I just need to eat mindfully and choose the healthier alternative.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to enjoy a late dinner of sauteed chicken and couscous with toasted pine nuts. Yum.

I think that's a HUGE step. Being mindful is awesome. It's so very hard...I sure know that. If this is what you want, you will do it!
Keep up the great job. Oh yeah, and I'm SO trying that chicken and cous cous!
